Emma Louise Harrell

Emma Louise Harrell, of Sardis passed away May 1, 2015 at the age of 86. She was preceded in death by her husband Roland Harrell of Sardis; son Danny Jackson, of Sardis; parents, David and Mary Beall of Gravel Ridge; brother, James Beall, of Gravel Ridge; sister, Lillian Harrell, of Sardis; and grandson, Robert Perkins, of Sardis. She is survived by her four children and family, Anna (Tim) Yarberry, of Sardis; Pat (Larry Joe) Wilson, of Vilonia; Lester (Mary) Harrell, of Sardis; and Cindy Cope, of Sardis; three brothers, Haskel (Cheryl) Beall, of Mt. Home; Lawrence (Margaret) Beall, of McAlester, Okla.; Dale (Valerie) Beall, of Gravel Ridge. 11 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Louise, Emma, Mom, Mother, and our favorite Meemaw are names she would go by. She loved being outside in her flower gardens. Other hobbies included sewing, crocheting and building. It seemed like there was nothing she couldn't do and had an awesome creativity about her. She instilled in us all common courtesy and kindness. She was an inspiration to us all. Always there to listen and love on her kids and grandkids. Never too busy to help out. She always appreciated the times we took her on outings and always managed to get her ice cream snack in the process. Her favorite was Sonic ice cream. She will be greatly missed by many including extended family and friends she made along the way. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Ashby's. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Ashby Funeral Home Chapel with burial at McPherson Cemetery in Sardis. Minister will be Bro. Rick Porter Online guest book at www.ashbyfuneralhome.com.
