Phillip Eugene Halstead

Phillip Eugene Halstead, age 65, of Bismarck, died Friday, May 1, 2015 at his home. He was born Dec. 11, 1949 in Beau Fort, N.C., the son of John and Aline Halstead. He was a retired project manager for Jacob's Engineering and a Baptist. His joy in life was his children and grandchildren and playing the guitar. He is survived by his wife, Phyllis Kay Halstead of Bismarck; six children: Angie Valentine of New York, Carla Moody of Dallas, Phyllis Norell Halstead also of New York, three stepchildren: Chad Gallagher of DeQueen, Katherine Pineda of Conway, Sarah Hammett of Benton; 13 grandchildren: Seth, Cole, Declan, Delany, Hannah, Grace, Ethan, Jude, Katlyn, Brittany, Alexandria, Destiny, and Jada; one brother, Tommy Halstead of Alabama. Funeral services will be 1 p.m., Monday, May 4 in the Ruggles-Wilcox Funeral Chapel with Chad Gallagher officiating. There will be no formal visitation.
