Robert Collins Smothers

COL Robert Collins Smothers, age 51, of North Little Rock, Arkansas passed away May 4th, 2015. He is survived by his wife Julie and two children Lee and Brooke; his Father and Mother Bob and Linda Smothers, and one sister Meredith Pour. Robert graduated in 1982 from Lonoke High School, attended the University of Arkansas where he played football for the Arkansas Razorbacks and was a member of the Sigma Nu Fraternity. He served as a Deacon at North View Missionary Baptist Church where he was a member for 17 years and was a full time employee of the Arkansas National Guard serving in various positions for over 31 years. Visitation will be Thursday, May 7th, 2015 from 6-8 p.m. at the Smith-North Little Rock Funeral Home (1921 Main St.) Funeral services will be Friday, 10 a.m. May 8th at North View Missionary Baptist Church (800 Page Mill Rd., North Little Rock, Ark. 72117).
