Erma Thomas

Erma Thomas, 77, of Conway, went to be with the Lord, Friday, May 8, 2015. She was born Jan. 1, 1938 in St. Louis, Mo. to Thomas Lawson Barnes, Sr. and Eudora Grace Barnes. Erma loved spending time with her family. She loved her dogs, bluebirds, and Pinochle friends. Erma also enjoyed hanging out with her bingo friends, knitting, crochet, and puzzles. She is survived by two sons, Michael (Katherine) Thomas of Guy and Joe (Cheryl) Thomas of Conway; three daughters: Karen (Jon) Young of Maumelle, Kim (Charles) Coker of Vilonia, and Kathy Marsden of Vilonia; eight grandchildren: Michelle McGee, Jessica Coker, Sarah Franco, Kyrie Ann Thomas, Kayla Marsden, Courtney Marsden, Jodie Houston, and Charley Bridges; five great-grandchildren: Chloe McGee, Jackson McGee, Gracie Franco, Dane Bridges, Arabella Houston; two sisters, Beverly Moon of Las Vegas and Carolyn Bassler of Tehachapi, Calif.; and many other extended family. She was preceded in death by her husband, Stephen Thomas; her parents; two brothers, Thomas Barnes Jr., David Barnes, Sr.; and a sister, Mary Jane Barnes. Funeral service will be Wednesday, May 13, 2015 at Roller McNutt Funeral home in Conway. Visitation will be 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, May 12, 2015. Burial will follow at Vilonia Cemetery.
