Rev. LEON S. WALLACE, 89, of North Little Rock, Ark., peacefully entered his Heavenly home on April 9, 2015. He retired from the Navy after 35 years of service. All of his life he loved sports and was well known for his love of tennis. He was preceded in death by his parents, Emmit and Donnie Wallace. He is survived by his wife, Creola B'Von Wallace; two sons, Adell Eugene Wallace (Brook) of LR, AR and Leon S. Wallace, Jr. of Charleston, S.C.; two daughters, Wanda F. Wallace Stokes of Charleston, S.C. and Janice K. Andrews of Colorado; a loving granddaughter, Paige Marion Wallace; a special nephew, Curnie Bryant, Jr. (Jannelle); and a special niece, Patricia Bryant Mobley both of LR, AR. He had 23 grand and great-grandchildren and a host of loving family and friends. Visitation will be Tuesday, May 12, 2015, from 6–7 p.m. at Serenity Funeral Home. Funeral services Wednesday, May 13, 2015, 12 noon at Greater Archview Baptist Church, 1720 West 23rd LR, AR. Interment will be at the Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery.
