Rebecca H. Melhorn

Rebecca H. Melhorn, 74, of Pine Bluff, went to be with the Lord, Sunday, May 10, 2015, on Mother's Day, surrounded by her family. She was born March 26, 1941, in Pine Bluff, the daughter of Harley and Mary Blanche Lain Herron. She was reared and received her education in Pine Bluff, where she graduated from Pine Bluff High School in 1959. She attended Judkins Business School in Pine Bluff, then went to work for the Pine Bluff Planning Director. She later lived in Butte, Montana, and Memphis, Tennessee before returning to Pine Bluff. She went to work for Baird, Kurtz, and Dobson Accounting in Pine Bluff, where she worked for 38 years, before retiring in 2009. She was a member of Southside Baptist Church. Left to cherish her memory is her four sons, Craig Melhorn of Bentonville, Mark Melhorn of Woodlawn, Kevin Melhorn of Pine Bluff, and David (Angela) Melhorn of Woodlawn; and six grandchildren. The family will receive friends Tuesday, May 12, 2015, 6 to 8 p.m., at Robinson's. Graveside services will be Wednesday, May 13, 2015, 10 a.m. at Roselawn Cemetery with Reverend Dick Couch officiating by Ralph Robinson & Son Funeral Directors.
