Jan Dilley Irwin, 59, received her promotion into the heavenly ranks on May 1, 2015. Preceded in death by her parents, Dr. Raymond Irwin and Eve Dilley Irwin. Jan is survived by her father, Dr. Scott Boaz (Paula) of Magnolia, Arkansas. Other survivors are Lyn (Ric) Webb of Little Rock, Arkansas; Scott (Marilyn) Irwin; Ray (Gabriela) Irwin; Rob (LeeLee) Irwin of Houston, Texas. Jan is also survived by her beloved nieces and nephews: Scotty Gaddis of Little Rock, Carson, Sarah, Robert ‘Bud', Allie, Lander, Robbie and William Irwin of Houston, Texas. Jan is also survived by her very special, lifelong friend, Mary Ellen (Russell) Goss. Born November 14, 1955 and raised in Pine Bluff, she lived in Little Rock for 25 years. She delivered newspapers for the Arkansas Gazette earning the ‘Carrier of the Week' award. Jan worked many years for Goodwill and Pathfinders. One of Jan's greatest loves was being the team cheerleader for all her nieces' and nephews' sports activities. One of the proudest moments of her life was receiving the POLL 2014 Blues Crews ‘Lifetime Fan Award'. Jan would arrive at games an hour early just to welcome her team at the front gate. Those who knew Jan were very aware of her passion for the Razorbacks. Jan knew what being a Razorback was all about, and she was more than happy to share it with you. Jan was a beloved member of Westminster United Methodist Church of Houston. Her family is partnering with Goodwill Houston in launching the Jan Irwin Memorial Employability Fund (to help other Jans).
