Helga Ruth Michalk

Helga Ruth Erika Michalk, of Jacksonville went to be with the Lord on May 24, 2015. She was born in the small rural German town of Warsow on January 19, 1933. She was a devoted wife, mother, Oma/Uroma. Her greatest joy was being around her family. She loved to cook and bake their favorite meals and treats. Family and friends were always made welcome. Mama's unconditional love turned a house into loving home. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Robert Michalk of Jacksonville, Arkansas and Peter Romann Reutter of Aurora, Illinois. She is survived by four sons Reny and Peter Reutter of Aurora, Illinois, Paul Reutter of Jacksonville, Arkansas, Robert Reutter of Quitman, Arkansas, one brother Horst Knopp of New Lenox, Illinois and all their families which include 10 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Helga, Oma/Uroma will truly be missed by many and the loving memories she gave us all will remain in our hearts forever. Memorial services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, May 30, 2015 at Moore's Jacksonville Funeral Home with Bro. Rodney Shanner officiating. Inurnment will follow in Chapel Hill Memorial Park.
