Jesse Kenneth Files, age 80, of Vilonia passed away on November 2, 2015. Kenneth was born on September 13, 1935 in Chambersville, Ark. and is survived by his wife of 59 years, Ramona Files; daughter, Sue White and husband, Greg White of Vilonia Ark.; son, Rev. Michael Files and wife, Kathy Files of Cabot; his grandchildren, Nathan White, Britni White, Joshua White, Chris Files, Daniel Files, 12 great-grandchildren; and sister, Betty Stover of Sherwood. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jesse and Ada Files. Kenneth's greatest blessing in life was his children, grand & great-grandchildren who all loved their "Pop"/"Pepaw". He also loved to fish and camp and you could always count on Pop either working on his truck, boat motor, lawn tractor or whatever needed fixing around the house. He also loved old cars and his horses of which he raised around the farm. He graduated from Kingsland High School in 1953, and then got into the bread delivery business eventually working for most of the well know bread companies throughout Arkansas. He later went on to fulfill one of his lifelong dreams by becoming an over the road truck driver and working for several years with Rainey Trucking in Fordyce. He is a member of Friendship Baptist Church in Kingsland, Ark. Visitation will be Wednesday, November 4th from 1 p.m. until 2 p.m. followed directly by the celebration homecoming service at 2 p.m. with Rev. Michael Files at Benton Funeral Home in Fordyce.
