James McDonald Reed

James McDonald "Macky" Reed, age 70 of Bald Knob, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, November 11, 2015 at his home. He was born May 5, 1945 in Ironton, Missouri to Thomas Bertram Reed and Kate Samantha McDonald Reed. He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Geraldine "Gerry" Reed; one son, Jimmy Reed of Bald Knob; one daughter, Ashley Warden and husband Bill of Bradford; one granddaughter, Jamie Franks and husband Jordon of Bald Knob; one grandson, Lucas Reed of Pulaski, New York; mother, Kate Hamby of Melbourne; one brother, Jerry Reed and wife Teresa of Melbourne; two great-grandsons, Gabe Warden of Bradford, Lucas Franks of Bald Knob; one great-granddaughter, Madison Franks of Bald Knob; and numerous loving nieces, nephews and other family. He is preceded in death by his father, Thomas Reed; daughter, Gina Reed Humes; son Scott Reed; and brother, John Reed. Visitation will be Friday from 6 until 8 p.m. at Powell Funeral Home.
