Bonnie Elaine (Smith) Ricks

Bonnie Elaine (Smith) Ricks 72, of Joplin, Mo. passed away Tuesday, November 10, 2015 in Austin, Ark., following a long illness. Bonnie was born January 4, 1943 in Pittsburg, Kan. the daughter of John and Mary Smith. She was a lifelong resident of the area and graduated from St. Mary's Colgan in 1960. Bonnie was a veteran of the U.S. Army. Survivors include her son Michael Ricks and wife Ashlee of Arma, Kan. Graveside services will be held Saturday, November 14, 2015 at Highland Park Cemetery at 2 p.m., friends are requested to meet at the cemetery for the services. Rosary will be recited at 6 p.m. Friday, November 13, 2015 at Bath Naylor Funeral Home in Pittsburg, Kan. Family will receive friends following the rosary.
