DOROTHY LOUISE DOLLAR, 96, of Little Rock and Greers Ferry died on Thursday, Nov. 19, 2015. She was born in North Little Rock on Oct. 18, 1919. The daughter of Floyd and Laura Tyler. She attended North Little Rock schools and was married to Edward Fuqua in 1939. Ed and Dorothy had one daughter, Edwina Fuqua Crockett and one son, William (Billy) Fuqua. She later worked for Dave Grundfest and Sterling Stores. She also had a second marriage to Dalton Dollar and a stepson, Ralph (Butch) Dollar. In 1965, Dorothy and Dalton moved to Greers Ferry, built and ran a resort on the lake until Dalton died in 1980. Both loved fishing and hunting, Dorothy soon retired but did not leave the lake until 2010 when she moved to Little Rock to be with her daughter, Edwina and her husband, Earl Crockett. Dorothy is survived by her three children, seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Memorial service will be at 2 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 5, 2015 at Holiday Hills Methodist Church, where she was a faithful member for many years. Reverend Dan Brand will officiate.
