HELEN L. WOLTHUIS, 89, of Little Rock went to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, November 18th. Born on a dairy farm in Kellnersville, Wis. to parents George & Mary Muench, Helen moved to Chicago in 1942 immediately after graduating from high school at the age of 16 and went to work for Teletype where she met John R. Wolthuis. They were married in 1957. Helen was preceded in death by her parents, brother George Muench and her husband of 56 years, John R. Wolthuis. She is survived by her loving children Mark (Linda) Wolthuis, Stephen Wolthuis, John (Natacha and children Yannice and William Konyaole) Wolthuis, and Janet Newton. Helen was a loving wife and mother who had a wonderful sense of humor who always put her family first. She will be missed by all who knew her. Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 22nd from 2–4 p.m. at Griffin Leggett Healey & Roth Funeral Home, 5800 W. 12th St., Little Rock. Funeral Service will be held at 2 p.m., Monday, November 23rd at Christ the King Catholic Church, 4001 N. Rodney Parham Rd., Little Rock, Ark. with Msgr. Francis I. Malone presiding. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Alzheimer's of Arkansas in memory of John Wolthuis, who suffered from the disease.
