Duane Robert Dewey

Duane Robert Dewey, 65, US Air Force Veteran, went to be with our awesome God Sunday, September 27, 2015. Born on October 18, 1949 in Muskegon, Michigan. He graduated from Orchard View High School. He was a loving husband, father, grandpa, brother and friend. He is loved and will be missed by all. When you look up in the sky and see a star twinkle, that will be Duane looking down at you and smiling and winking as if to say ‘It will be okay'. Duane was preceded in death by his parents, Richard Dewey and Margaret Spahr. Those he left behind to cherish the memories are his wife, Sharon Dewey; daughters Stephanie Jones and husband Jack, Angela Ragsdale and husband Steve; step-son Michael Bailey; grandchildren Ross Ragsdale, Zoe Ragsdale, Emmalee Bills and Abigail Bills; brothers Dale Dewey and wife Melody, Robert Dewey and wife Jeanne; several nieces and nephews and a world of family and friends. A memorial service, in celebration of his life, will begin at 10 a.m., Saturday, October 3, 2015 at Little Rock New Hope Church of the Nazarene located at 5519 Atwood Road, Little Rock, Arkansas. In memorial to Duane, in lieu of flowers, tributes may be made to Little Rock Compassion Center, 3618 West Roosevelt Road, Little Rock, Ark. 72204 in his honor.
