Geneva Alene Lents, 82, of Cabot, died Wednesday, October 7, 2015. She was born to the late Issac Herman Bell Sr. and Lillie Rose Reed Bell, on July 16, 1933, in Rockwood, Tennessee. As the wife of a U.S. Airman, Alene resided in various locations in the U.S., from Florida to Alaska, while raising their three children. After the passing of her husband, she settled in Cabot, where her hobbies included yard work and sewing. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Cabot. In most recent years, she enjoyed visits from her grandchildren, and social activities with her friends, including trips to various places around the country. Alene was preceded in death by her parents, her first husband, Charles M. Lents, her second husband, Billy Don Joslin, and brother, Issac Herman Bell Jr. She is survived by her children, Charles Lents (Sandy) of Cabot, Robert Lents (Cindy) of Atlanta, Ga., and Glenda Chenault of Little Rock; brother, Billy Joe Bell; grandchildren, Stephanie, Jennifer, Bryan, Shannon, Jeremy, Kaitlin, and Emily; great-grandchildren, Taylor, Brylee, Conley, Lucas, Blayse, and Xavier. Funeral Service will be Friday, October 9, 2015 at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Moore's Cabot Funeral Home, with burial in Mt. Carmel Cemetery.
