James W. "Jim" Caudle, 71, of Conway died Thursday, Oct. 8, 2015. He was born in Hope, Ark., the son of the late Terrell M. Caudle, and the late Sam Huckabee and Dortha Faye Huckabee. He attended the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville, earning a B.S.A. in Agronomy. Mr. Caudle was employed by the U.S.D.A./Natural Resource Conservation Service from 1968 to 2008. He continued consulting with the agency until present. Jim was a member of First United Methodist Church in Conway, where he served faithfully on numerous ministries. He leaves his beloved wife Zettie Hays Caudle; his son, Jeff Caudle and his wife Kim of Conway; and a daughter, Angela Caudle de Freitas and husband Andre of Conway. He adored his five grandchildren, Neely and Daisy Jane Caudle and Aden, Alec, and Aryn de Freitas all of Conway, who brought special joy to his life. Jim leaves two sisters, Linda Honea of Little Rock, and Mary Lou (Mike) Downs of Hope. He also leaves behind a special cousin, Peggy Butler, and numerous other family and friends. Visitation is 6-8 p.m. Monday, Oct. 12, 2015 in the Fellowship Hall at First United Methodist Church of Conway. A memorial service is 2 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 13, 2015 in the Sanctuary at First United Methodist Church, with Reverend Michael Roberts and Reverend Lynn Kilbourne officiating. Arrangements are by Roller-McNutt Funeral Home in Conway.
