Allyce Parks Rice Twedt

Loving wife, sister, daughter and aunt, Allyce Parks Rice Twedt, died suddenly Saturday night, October 17, 2015. She lived her whole life in Little Rock, Arkansas, graduating from Hall High School in 1976 and the University of Arkansas, Little Rock in 1996. She was a Chi-Omega at UALR and worked for Lewis Realty as a leasing agent for 30 years. She was actively involved in the BOMA association and served at the state and national levels, and was a past president of the Greater Little Rock BOMA. Allyce was an avid Razorback fan and always had a smile on her face and a laugh that often resulted in tears that required a crying towel with her name on it. She was a loving ‘mom' to her nieces and nephews and a dedicated sister to her four sisters by birth and the many friends including her "GGWs" who also called her sister. She was preceded in death by her parents, Mary Ann and Patrick Joseph Rice, sister, Thelma Ann Rice and grandmother, Marguerite English Rice. Allyce is survived by her husband, Kevin Twedt of Maumelle; her sisters, Karen (Andy) Branton of Little Rock, Julia (Royce) Brown-Clinton and Patty (Rob) Wilson of Fayetteville; in-laws, Beverly Twedt, Brian (Lori) Twedt, Bruce (Rose) Twedt, Mary (Paul) Cantrell; nephews and nieces, Michael Compton, Alan (Holly) Aldridge, Alex (Chase) Woods, Max Wilson, Brennan Taylor, Jordan (Cody) Clark and Shelby Twedt; and great nieces and nephews, Ford and Spencer Compton, Aiden, Ace, and Collyn Aldridge and Finley Clark. Visitation will be Thursday, October 22 from 5-7 p.m. at Little Rock Funeral Home, 8801 Knoedl Ct. (NW corner I-630 and Barrow Rd.). Services will be Friday, October 23 at 2 p.m. at St. Paul United Methodist Church, 2223 Durwood Rd., Little Rock, officiated by Rev. Richard Mitchell and Dr. Larry Braden.
