Steven Patrick Dries

Steven Patrick Dries, 64, of Cabot, passed away Monday, October 19, 2015. He was born in Cherokee, Iowa on March 12, 1951, to Vincent and Phoebe Gregg Dries. Steven loved hunting, fishing, and motorcycles. His greatest accomplishment was building a cordwood house in Wisconsin, by hand. He was a family man, who was committed to being a foster parent. Steven served with the USMC from September 4, 1968-August 20, 1971 during the Vietnam War. He is survived by his wife, Nancy Dries, of Cabot; mother, Phoebe; step-father, Angel Cabrices; daughters, Michelle Sarber and Jessica Dries; sisters, Nancy Tate and Kay Dries; brothers, Daniel Cabrices and Richard Cabrices; grandchildren, Anthony, Matthew, Owen, Riley, and Ethan; and dear friends, Robertta Nesdahl, and Robert Mathis. The family invites friends to their home, Wednesday, October 21, 2015, at noon, for a memorial service and visitation.
