Stan Perry

Stan Perry beloved cheerleading coach and gifted and talented coordinator for West Memphis School District was called home by God on October 22, 2015. He coached cheerleading for West Junior High and the Academies of West Memphis for over fifteen years. He was truly loved by all of his cheerleaders. Stan was also a diligent and talented teacher for West Memphis School District for over thirty years. His students still talk about the influences he had on their lives. Stan was preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Mary Perry and a brother, Ronnie Perry. He is survived by his life partner of 34 years, Rick Roberts, two nieces Blair Perry and Kim Perry of Southaven, Miss.; a great-nephew, Jaxon Perry and a God-daughter Cailen Williams. A celebration of Life services will be held at The First United Methodist Church in Deneke Hall at 11 a.m. on Saturday, October 24, 2015.
