Evelyna Rawlins

Evelyna Rawlins age 75 of Prattsville, Ark. died Friday, Oct. 23, 2015 in a Little Rock Hospice Facility. She was born Aug. 3, 1940 in Hensley, Ark., the daughter of Mittie and Will Halton. She was the secretary for the Davis Creek Community Club, Active in the Democratic Party Politics in Grant County as a poll worker. She was a 29 year employee of Walmart and she also worked in the finance department of the Arkansas Baptist State Convention. Evelyna is survived by her husband, Bennie Rawlins; son, Kenneth Rawlins (Yvonne) of Little Rock, Ark.; siblings, Irene (James) McClenon of Flint, Mich., Racheal Jordan of Little Rock, Ark. and Ella Richardson of little Rock, Ark., Omae Mitchell of Inkster, Mich. and Judy Halton of Dayton, Ohio; grandchild, Patrre Rawlins; godchildren, Danielle Chris (Khadija); Kody Chris III and Saniyah Rideout all of Little Rock, Ark. Visitation will be Monday, October 26 from 6–8 p.m. at Brandon's Mortuary 329 West Third Street Malvern, Ark. 72104. Funeral services are on Tuesday, October 27 at 11 a.m. at Bethel A. M. E. Church 1220 Carmichael Street, Malvern, Ark. 72104.
