John Lawrence Mortensen

John Lawrence Mortensen, 90, a resident of Fayetteville, passed away Oct. 21, 2015 in Fayetteville. He was born Oct. 11, 1925 at Bemidji, Minn. the son of Henry and Ruby Lawerence Mortensen. John was a veteran of the Army Air Corp during WWII. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Robert Mortensen. Survivors include his wife of 63 years Lois Mortensen; one son, John Alan Mortensen and wife Anke of Van Buren; four daughters, Cheryl Killingsworth and husband John of Roland, Ark., RoxAnn Luper of West Fork and Joyce Mortensen and Cynthia Mussen both of Springdale; seven grandchildren, Jeff, Chris, Bess, Jacquelyn, Brad, Kai, and Hans; three great-grandchildren, Laura, Abbie, and John; one half brother, Mark Mortensen of Richland, Mo.
