Linda Edwards Barringer

Linda Edwards Barringer, 68, of Pine Buff, died Friday, Oct. 23, 2015. Born Feb. 2, 1947 at Gould, she was a daughter of the late Pete Edwards and Ottie McFalls Edwards. She graduated from Gould High School in 1965. For over 30 years, Linda worked in several financial institutions, including Simmons Bank, Guarantee Federal, First South; and retired from Pine Bluff National Bank. Mrs. Barringer was a longtime member of East Side Baptist Church and currently a member of Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church at Woodlawn. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by siblings: Leo Edwards, H. D. Edwards, Charles Edwards, Neva Hackelton, Patsy Webb, and Bonnie Burton. Survivors include her children: Tammy Dutton (Neal Wood), Trina Mitosinka (Harvey), and Wesley Barringer; a brother, Mack Edwards (Soncy); and six grandchildren: Jonathan McCoy (Kacey), Caleb McCoy, Cody Morris, Emily Morris, Madison Barringer, and Landen Barringer. Funeral services will be Tuesday, 2 p.m. at Fuller Hale-South Chapel. Burial will be in Leek Cemetery at Star City. Visitation will be Monday from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
