Gloria Jean Morrow

Gloria Jean Morrow was born the daughter of Elwood Shoop and Mae (Honeycutt) Shoop on February 11, 1956, in Kalamazoo, Michigan, and departed this life October 24, 2015, at her home in Little Rock, Arkansas. She was 59. She is survived by two sons, Grant Morrow and wife Jessica of Memphis, Tennessee and Trenton Morrow of Fayetteville, Arkansas; her mother, Mae Shoop of Edmond, Oklahoma; one sister, Judith Ford and husband Robert of Edmond, Oklahoma; other relatives and many friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Elwood Shoop. Gloria graduated from Harding University in Searcy, Arkansas in 1978, earning a Bachelor's Degree in Communications. She was a copywriter for both radio and television, working in the Little Rock area. Gloria enjoyed High School, College, and Community Theater both on stage and behind the scenes. She was involved in Toastmasters and also organized and judged speech and debate contests. She was of the Church of Christ faith and will truly be missed by her family and friends. Visitation will be Saturday, October 31 from noon until 2 p.m. with services to follow at Carter Funeral Home in Thayer, Missouri.
