Audrey Faye Carter Taylor was born November 22, 1925 in Reader, Arkansas to Moy and Georgia Carter. She graduated from East Mountain High School in Gilmer, Texas in 1943. She enlisted in the Cadet Nurses Corp and attended nurses training at Baylor, New Orleans and graduated from Shumpert Hospital in Shreveport, Louisiana - a Registered Nurse. She worked many years in Shreveport and Bossier City. She married Robert Grady Taylor on the 30th of March 1948. They lived in Bossier City until his passing in June of 1995. After his death Audrey moved to Cabot, Arkansas to be near her daughters. She is survived by her daughters Marsha Land Sinks and her husband Jim and Moye Elaine Pope and her husband Leonard; and a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Visitation and chapel services will be held at Hill Crest Funeral Home Saturday, September 5, beginning at 12 p.m. with chapel services beginning at 2 p.m. Burial will immediately follow at Hill Crest Cemetery in Haughton, Louisiana. Pallbearers will be Jimmy Sinks, Leonard Pope, David Cecere, Nolan Wickersham. Shane Jenkins, Caleb Jenkins, Luke Jenkins and Jeremy Hopkins. Honorary pallbearer is Samuel Sinks of Rison, Arkansas.
