Willie Corinne Glover

Willie Corinne "Sissie" Glover, 93, of Star City, passed away on September 16, 2015. She was born on November 20, 1921 in England, Ark. She was the daughter of the late Virgil Glover Sr. and Cora Edna Glover. She was a member of the Hickory Grove Baptist Church. Before retirement, she was a radio dispatcher for the Lincoln County Sheriff's Office for 19 years. She is preceded in death by three infant siblings; brothers, Wayne, Billy and William Virgil "Bubba" Glover, Jr.; and a sister, Cora Lee Boyette. She is survived by Cindy Glover, Sarah Glover and Jacob Glover, all of the home; siblings, Betty Woodward, Glen Glover, Lenora Whitehead, Gerald Glover and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, September 19, 2015 at Griffin Funeral Chapel with Bro. Bill Hilburn officiating. Visitation is 6-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Burial at Hickory Grove Cemetery. Pallbearers are Ronnie McGehee, Truett Owen, Bob Parker, Thomas Fish, Paul Moore and Steve Moore. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hickory Grove Baptist Church or Hickory Grove Cemetery. Arrangements by Griffin Funeral Service in Star City.
