Donald L. Ervin

DONALD LLOYD ERVIN, 88 of Sherwood, Arkansas, went to be with Our Lord, September 19, 2015. He was born November 9, 1926 in Watseka, Illinois to Lee and Elizabeth Ervin. He married Lillian Feggett July 21, 1946. He was preceded in death by her in 2007 and brother, Lawrence, in 2013. He is survived by two sisters, Ester and husband Roy Beard of Ozark, Missouri, Dorothy of Erie, Colorado, and sister-in-law, Shirley, of Manitowoc, Wisconsin; two daughter, Donna of Sherwood, Arkansas, and Carolyn and husband John Gloyd of Colorado Springs, Colorado; and two grandsons, Terry Lott of Denver, Colorado and Cody Speer of Coconut Creek, Florida. Mr. Ervin faithfully served our country, active for 21 years and reserve for 10 years, serving in World War II and Korea. He continued his service for 10 years in the Civil Service at San Antonio and Mesquite, Texas, retiring at Little Rock, Arkansas. Then, he served as President of the Arkansas Bluegrass Association for 10 years. He was a witness for Our Lord, Jesus Christ. Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m., Thursday, September 24, 2015 at Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery, North Little Rock, Arkansas, with full military honors.
