Edean Gordon

Edean (Wilson) Gordon, of Rogers, passed from this life on Sunday, September 27, 2015 at her home. She was 84 years old. An open visitation is Wednesday, September 30, 2015 at Holt Memorial Chapel from 12 to 7 p.m. Graveside service is Thursday, October 1, 2015 at 10 a.m. at Snow Cemetery in Wayton. Susan Gray will officiate. Pallbearers are Eric, Mark, Ryan, Travis, and Gary Ramsey, Jr., and David Wilson. The daughter of Ed and Betty (Martin) Wilson was born on February 24, 1931 in Nail, Ark. Edean was a member of the Vaughn Presbyterian Church in Bentonville. She enjoyed gardening and quilting but most of all she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. Her first husband, Cecil Ramsey; her second husband, John Gordon; two sons, Jerry and Gary Ramsey; her parents, Ed Wilson and Betty Neil; and one brother, Troy Wilson preceded her in death. Survivors include her sons, Terry Ramsey, of Rogers, Dennis Ramsey and wife, Susan, of Gilbert, S.C., and foster son, David May, of Rogers; 12 grandchildren, Deanna Ramsey, Pamuela Galletti, Travis Ramsey, Adrain Ramsey, Gary Ramsey, Jr., Mandy Yousey, Jenny Lewis, Eric Ramsey, Mark Ramsey, Ryan Ramsey, Ashley Korner, and Brittany Ramsey; eight great grandchildren, Tyler Dickson, Maggie and Joe Galletti, Penelope, Lennox, and Lilly Ramsey, Shane Luttrell, and Peyton Ramsey; one brother, Gus Wilson, of Rogers; and one sister, Johnia Carlton, of Rogers.
