Virgie Ringwald

Virgie Lee Morgan Teague Ringwald, 95, of Sherwood went to be with her loving Savior on Sunday, September 27, 2015. Virgie was known to friends and family simply as Granny. Granny was born July 2, 1920 in Trumann, Arkansas. She was the only daughter of Bessie and Luther (Bud) Morgan. She was a long time member of the Rosebud Baptist Church when she lived in Romance, Arkansas with her late husband, Richard Ringwald. She was presently a member at Zion Hill Baptist Church, and a retired dedicated employee for the Baptist Health Care System. She will be remembered by the many quilts sewn for her family, pies baked, and the gardens she loved to grow on her farm in Romance, Arkansas. She is survived by one brother, James Morgan and his wife Jan of Moss Point, Mississippi; three children, Harold Teague and wife, Susan of Tuscan, Arizona, Velva Collins of Sherwood and Jerald Teague of Cabot; three granddaughters, Toni Erwin (Gary), of Cabot, Kelly Welcher of Cabot and Tracy Walker (Todd) of North Little Rock; one grandson, Josh Collins; five great-granddaughter, Jessica and Jordan Erwin, Kaylee and Meagan Welcher, Bethany Walker; one great-grandson, Will Walker and many nieces, nephews and a special friend, LaShae Morris. She is preceded in death by her husbands, Harvey A. Teague of Trumann and Richard Ringwald of Romance; two grandchildren, Robert Allen Collins and Teresa Jo Collins. She was a dedicated wife, mother, and grandmother who will be greatly missed as we rejoice in her victory. Funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m., Wednesday at Zion Hill Baptist Church, Cabot. Burial will be 1 p.m. Wednesday at Rest Hills Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m., Tuesday at Smith – North Little Rock Funeral Home.
