Frances Jean Robillard, 83 of Flower Mound, Texas, formerly of Hot Springs Village, Ark., passed away peacefully Saturday, September 12, 2015. Jean, as she was known by everyone, was born in Atlanta, Ga. on March 1, 1932 to Robert and Frances Fox. She was raised in Savannah, Ga. and later, Metairie, La. In 1950, while on a double date, she met Malcolm (Mick) Robillard. Married on December 26, 1953, she and Mick shared that rare, love of a lifetime, celebrating 58 years together until his death in 2012. She is survived by her four children, Michael Robillard of New Orleans, La., Mark Robillard (Holly) of Boca Raton, Fla., Steven Robillard (Anne) of Flower Mound, Texas, and Sharon Robillard of Peachtree City, Ga.; her eight grandchildren, Mark, Duncan, Rachel, Jackie, Bobby, Ryan, James, Amanda and her great-grandson, Jaxon. Jean was a full-time mother, a devout Catholic, an avid volunteer, and an ardent reader. She and Mick loved to travel, whether it was by plane to explore a new country, jumping into the RV with the Road Runners, or in the early years, pitching a tent with the family. Jean was a Southern woman at heart, taking care of her family, living her faith, being a gracious host, and showing people an abundance of kindness and compassion. She will always be remembered for her laugh, her enthusiasm for life; and her love for "the love of her life" Mick. A Memorial Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, October 10, 2015 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 295 Balearic Road, Hot Springs Village, Ark. 71909. Reception to immediately follow in the church hall. The family asks for donations to be made to the Alzheimer's Association, P.O. Box 96011, Washington, DC 20090-6011.
