Lt. Col. Michael G. Jordan U.S.A.F. (Ret.) 71, of Jacksonville, passed away on April 3, 2016 at his residence. He was born on December 3, 1944 in Texarkana, Arkansas to the late Raymond V. and Mary Helen (Barfield) Jordan. Michael was a member of the First Baptist Church of New Boston, Texas. He retired from the United States Air Force in 1988, a Vietnam War Veteran. Then, he was a flight instructor at Little Rock Air Force Base and later site manager for Lockheed Martin. Survivors include his wife; Pat (Davis) Jordan, one daughter; Dena Sanders, and her husband; Thomas, five grandsons; Tommy Sanders (Brandie), Noah Sanders (Molly Reed), Jordan Sanders, Jake Sanders, Joshua Sanders, one brother; Wesley Jordan (Margaret), other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be 10 a.m., Friday, April 8, 2016, at Moore's Jacksonville Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Ron Riddle officiating. Interment will follow in the Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery in North Little Rock.
