Terry Kidd

Terry Kidd, age 71, of Benton, passed away Sunday, April 17, 2016. He was born February 22, 1945 in Little Rock, Arkansas. Terry graduated from the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville in 1969, with a degree in Electrical Engineering. He entered the Army as a 2nd Lieutenant in 1969, served behind the Iron Curtain in Berlin Germany, and received the Joint Services Commendation Medal for his service there. He received an honorable discharge from the Army in 1972 as a Captain. Terry was the owner and operator of TKI Computer Center for more than 25 years. He was a member and served as President of the Saline County Hospital Board, and also served on the Board of Commissioners for the City of Benton in the 1980's. Terry was a member of Parkview United Methodist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, Rose Alice Green and W. T. Kidd. He is survived by his wife, Sissy Bell Kidd, his daughter, Anne Bowlin and her husband Mark, his grandson Blake Bowlin, his brother Doug Kidd and his wife Ceil. Also survived by step daughters, Ellen Mallard, her husband Gabe and their two children and Laura Cerutti and her husband Dave and their two children. Visitation will be 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, April 19 at Ashby Funeral Home. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, April 20 at Ashby Funeral Home with burial at Smith Rosemont Cemetery.
