Alroy "Hoot" Barron

Alroy "Hoot" Barron, 77, of Springdale passed away Thursday, April 21, 2016 at Circle of Life Hospice in Springdale. He was born February 26, 1939 in Springdale to Thomas Roy and Thelma Faye Barrett Barron. "Hoot" was a Chicken Farmer. He loved reading the bible and spending time with his family. He enjoyed restoring old cars. He is preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Robert Lee Barron and Tommy Lee Barron. Survivors include his wife, Shirley Barron of the home; two daughters, Betty Loreen Davis and husband Alan of Glendora, California and Frances Doreen Ely and husband David of Haymarket, Virginia; two sisters, Marzie Watkins and Bonnie Gibbs both of Springdale and three grandchildren and one great-grandchild. And several nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be Saturday, April 23, at 10am at Forest Park Cemetery in Springdale.
