Dorothy May Whidden

Dorothy May Whidden died April 25, 2016. She was born in Youngstown, Ohio on May 1, 1921 to Gertrude and William Baum. She was married to Edward Floreen for 38 years, to whom she bore three children, Alan, Linda, and Eric. She later married family friend, David Whidden. She is survived by her son, Eric Floreen (Lorraine) of Camarillo, Calif.; her son, Alan's widow, Susie Floreen of Simi Valley, Calif.; and her daughter Linda LeBron of Little Rock. She also leaves seven grandchildren and 14 great-great-grandchildren. Always an active church woman, a memorial service will take place at Second Presbyterian Church at 3 p.m., Wednesday, April 27th. Interment will take place in Chatsworth, Calif. when a family gathering can be arranged. Gifts may be made to the Presbyterian Village Capital Campaign.
