Mildred Agnes Westbrook

Mildred Agnes Westbrook, 93, of Haskell, passed away April 24, 2016. She was born June 1, 1922 in Haskell to the late Robert and Mary Elizabeth Smith Westbrook. Mildred retired from Harmony Grove School after teaching 3rd grade for 40 plus years. She was a member of the Mt. Harmony Missionary Baptist Church. Mildred was preceded in death by her parents, brother, Lilburn Westbrook, sisters, Myrtle and Lily Westbrook, nephew, Carrol Westbrook and great niece, Pam Westbrook. She is survived by nephew, Gerald Westbrook and wife, Janie of Haskell, nieces, Judy Harrop and husband, Gene of Springdale, Gayle Mills and husband, Mike of Haskell niece in law, Louise Westbrook of Haskell, many great nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be her great-nephews. Church services by Ashby Funeral Home will be 11 a.m. Friday at Mt. Harmony Missionary Baptist Church with Bro. John Bagby officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Harmony Cemetery. Visitation will be 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. at Mt. Harmony Missionary Baptist Church before services at 11 a.m. The family would like to thank the 5th floor at Saline Memorial Hospital and Hospice for all their help and comfort during this time.
