Steven Lee Cartwright

After a long battle with cancer, Steven Lee Cartwright joined his mother, Maxine Cartwright, in Heaven on July 26, 2016. Born in Tulsa, Okla., Steve was raised in Memphis, Tenn. and moved to Northwest Arkansas in 2001. Steve's career included plastic molding with his most current position as Process Engineer at FM Corporation in Rogers, Ark., where he was instrumental in implementing robotic molding. His two greatest hobbies were hunting and fishing. Steve was known as the ultimate "fixer-upper", spending much time remodeling his home on 27 acres near Beaver Lake, Ark. He enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson often participating in fundraising events with fellow bikers. Steve is survived by his son, Justin Lee Cartwright (Whitney), his infant granddaughter, Tinley Jae Cartwright, his father, Gene Cartwright, his two sisters, Rhona Newport (Alan), Terri Boyd (Mark), and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nephews, a niece, a great-nephew and a great-niece. Steve's family wishes to thank Circle of Life Hospice in Rogers, Ark. and Crossroads Hospice in Memphis, Tenn. for their loving care. A special thank you to Steve's best friends, Jim Flowers and John and Melissa Wise of Arkansas, for their loyalty and unwavering friendship during Steve's illness. Additionally, our family would like to thank the management and staff of FM Corporation for their gracious support of Steve during his illness. A private service is planned for the family. Online condolences and memorial tributes can be made at www.ColliervilleFuneralHome.com.
