Dorothy Stewart Wheeler

Dorothy Stewart Wheeler, 98, of Maumelle, Ark., formerly of West Memphis, Ark., died August 3rd, 2016. She was born February 28, 1918 in Memphis, Tenn. to the late Wallace and Bessie Hotter Stewart. She was a homemaker and a member of St. James Anglican Church in Memphis, Tenn. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Harvey Wheeler; son-in-law Danny R. Bourland; daughter-in-law Susan Wheeler; three sisters and one brother. Survivors include daughter, Dorris W. Bourland of Maumelle, Ark.; sons, James "Jim" H. Wheeler Jr. and wife Ruth Ann of Mt. Vernon, Ill., and Thomas "Tom" H. Wheeler and wife Ann of Marion, Ark.; grandchildren, Layne Bourland of Maumelle, Ark., Kelly Boothe and husband Tom of Maumelle, Ark., Jay Wheeler and wife Jamie of Mt. Vernon, Ill., Tom Wheeler and wife Dawn of Fenton, Mo., and Christy Paganoni of Arlington, Tenn.; and six great-grandchildren. Visitation will be August 5th, 2016 from 5 until 7 p.m. at Roller Citizens Funeral Home in West Memphis. The graveside service will be held August 6th, 2016 at 10 a.m. at Crittenden Memorial Park in Marion with Reverend Keith Boettner officiating.
