Joanna Willson

Joanna Muse Willson of North Little Rock, Ark. passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 7, 2016 surrounded by her family. Joanna was born June 11, 1934 in El Dorado, Ark. and was the oldest of three children. Joanna graduated from Louisiana Tech University and UALR with a music theory degree and taught private piano lessons for many years. She was a lifetime Master Gardener, volunteer for Heifer International, Sunday school teacher, and a member of the church Pastoral Care Team. To cherish her memory is her husband, Robert, son, Stephen and wife Betty, Lafayette, Ga., daughter, Christi and wife Veronica Battaglia, North Little Rock, Ark., brother, Thomas Muse and wife Janna, sister, Nancy Browne and husband Glenn, four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. Visitation will be Wednesday, August 10 from 5-7 p.m. at First United Methodist Church, 6701 J.F.K. Blvd, North Little Rock. Services will be Thursday, August 11 at 10 a.m. at First United Methodist Church followed by burial at Grissard Cemetery, El Paso, Ark. at 1 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to Heifer International or First United Methodist Church, North Little Rock.
