Jean England

Jean England, age 75 of Mabelvale died Tuesday, August 9, 2016 at Baptist Medical Center in Little Rock. She was born July 14, 1941 in Georgetown, South Carolina, a daughter of the late James Knight and Allene Avant Knight. Mrs. England was a homemaker. She always enjoyed telling and listening to a good joke or story. Mrs. England was preceded in death by her husband, Bill England and two sisters, Faye Waymack and Jesse Anderson. Survivors include four sons, Don Delaney of Greenville, South Carolina, Lamar Sweat and wife, Mattie of Springdale, James Sweat and wife, Dawn of Port Wentworth, Georgia, Doug Sweat and wife, Susan of White Hall; one daughter, Tammie England of Pine Bluff; one brother, Bobby Knight of Pine Bluff; her faithful companion of sixteen years, Howard Brewer; eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be 2 p.m., Friday, August 12, 2016 at Buie Funeral Home in Rison with Brother Warner Worthan officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Zion Cemetery in Kedron.
