Mary Lou Jackson

Mary Lou Jackson, 88, of Haskell, gained her heavenly wings on Thursday, August 11, 2016. She was born December 16, 1927 in Quitman, Arkansas to the late Robert and Amma New Tackett. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband of 65 years, Mark Jackson, infant son, Mark Edwin; brothers, Slim, Billy and Short Tackett. Mary Lou is survived by her sons, Robert Jackson (Janie), Tracy Jackson (Vickie) all of Haskell, daughter, Beverly Garrett of Haskell, grandchildren, Jimmy Garret (Kristy) of Benton, Cindy Urban (David) of Haskell, Trevor Jackson of Benton, Lyndsey Kelly (Brandon) of Haskell, and Kayla Winfield (Cole) of Jacksonville, Florida, nine great-grandchildren, sisters, Ann Cotton (Pete) and Linda Statler (Buddy) all of Haskell, sister-in-law, Pat Tackett of Benton, numerous nieces and nephews. Chapel services by Ashby Funeral Home will be 2 p.m. on Monday with Bro. Randy Reed officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Harmony Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday at Ashbys, 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Saline Memorial Hospice or the Traskwood Methodist Church.
