Frances Elaine Balgavy

Frances Elaine Balgavy, 77, of Vilonia, left this World to begin the next phase of her life on Aug. 12, 2016. She was born in the Pumpkin Center Community in Cleburne County and reared in Quitman, where she was an accomplished basketball player and graduated from high school. A lifelong homemaker, her family was always her first priority. Generous with her energy and time, she was also the ultimate PTA Mom, Booster Club member, and Champion Softball Coach and someone who always made time to help friends in need. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Frank and parents, Butler and Bernice Ussery. She is survived by her daughter, DeAnna Babcock (Fredrick) of Morrilton and son, John Balgavy (Jane Morgan) of Austin; grandchildren, Fredrick Babcock II (Miranda) of Indianapolis, Ashley Willis of Morrilton, and Hayden Balgavy of Little Rock and great-grandson and apple-of-her-eye, Andrew Babcock of Morrilton. A memorial celebration of her life is planned for 10 a.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 16 at the Roller-McNutt Funeral Home in Conway. In lieu of flowers or food, the family asks that you consider making a memorial in her name to the Old Texas Cemetery, in care of Bill Gray, 55 Old Texas Road, Quitman, Ark. 72131.
