Bobby Gene Baney

Bobby Gene Baney, 72, of Ward died Friday, August 19, 2016. He was born March 16, 1944 in Swifton to the late Lehman and Glenna George Baney. Mr. Baney was a kind, gentle man with the sweetest smile who never raised his voice in anger. He enjoyed cooking and westerns and worked as a carpenter, builder and cabinet maker. In addition to his parents, Mr. Baney was preceded in death by his brothers, Johnny and Gary Baney and a grandson, William Phelan. Mr. Baney is survived by his wife, Linda Sue Algood Baney of Ward; his children, Theron Wayne Baney (Angie), Arron Lyn Baney, Marcia Marie Childress (Larry), Glenda Sue Eversole (Jon) and Diane Frances Phelan; his siblings, James Carroll Baney, Janice McMasters and Virginia Hagg; his grandchildren, Valorie Baney, Zachary Baney, Greg Lercher (Amanda), Ashley Gonyea (Jeff), Zeblon Orrick, Brittany Bouton (Madison), Tawney Johnson, Ireland Eversole, Jaden Eversole and Maia Eversole; his great grandchildren, Halley and Xander Johnson, Carter and Riley Lercher and Elliana and Witten Gonyea. Visitation will be from noon-2 p.m. Tuesday, August 22, 2016 with funeral services beginning at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Moore's Cabot Funeral Home (501)843-5816.
