Joan B. Thompson

Joan B. Thompson, 84, of Benton, Ark., passed away on Aug. 18, 2016. She was born Jan. 19, 1932 to the late W.F. Jeffries and Leila Mae Winans. She was a loving mother, devoted military wife and homemaker. She also faithfully attended Pulaski Heights Baptist Church until her health would no longer permit. She enjoyed traveling and watching detective shows on television. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Clarence Ross and her son, Frank Thompson. Left to cherish her memory is her daughter, Tina Thompson. A celebration of her life will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 23, 2016 at Pulaski Heights Baptist Church, Little Rock, with a burial immediately following at Pinecrest Cemetery, Alexander Ark. There will also be a visitation in her honor from 6-8 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 22, 2016 at Griffin Leggett Healey and Roth Funeral Home, Little Rock Ark.
