Jo G. Young

Jo G. Young, 90, of Little Rock died on August 21, 2016. She was born March 3, 1926 in Mt. Ida, Arkansas to Oscar R. and Bettie E. Cole Guinn. She was a member of St. Paul United Methodist Church, the Horticultural Club, and also worked as an election clerk for many years. Jo was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Julian E. Young; daughter, Judy Diann Young; son-in-law, Chris Hunter; four brothers; and five sisters, including her identical twin, Jean G. Carter. She is survived by her son, Phil Young of Plano, Texas; daughters, Nancy E. Young (Glenn C. Devitt) of Portland, Ore., and Pam Y. Hunter of Little Rock, Ark.; two grandchildren, Laura H. Arbour (Neilson) of Ft. Worth, Texas, and Joseph W. Hunter (Izzy Kouf) of Harvest, Ala.; and great-grandchildren, Adeline and Blythe Arbour of Ft. Worth, Texas. Graveside service is 12 p.m., Wednesday, August 24, 2016 at Pinecrest Memorial Park in Alexander, Ark.
