Stella McLeod

Stella McLeod, 97, of Hot Springs passed away on Saturday, December 3, 2016. She was born on September 14, 1919 in Sparkman, Arkansas to the late Allen and Ola Rucker. She was of the Baptist faith and a homemaker. She was a resident of Country Club Village for about 20 years where she enjoyed the fellowship of many friends, playing cards, and music programs especially during the holidays. She was predeceased by her husband, Paul McLeod, Sr., step-son, Paul McLeod, Jr, step-daughter, Betty Jo Rankin and her husband Chester Rankin. Survivors include her daughter-in-law, Betty McLeod of Sheridan along with Betty's children David Workman of Sheridan and Chris Workman of Magnolia. Her other beloved grandchildren are Scott McLeod of Louisiana, Michael McLeod and Tommy Drake of Texas and Cathy Sause of Hot Springs. Graveside services will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Hot Springs with Chris Workman officiating.
