John William Davidson Jr., age 72, of Benton died Saturday, December 3, 2016 at Saline Memorial Hospital of Benton, Ark. Mr. Davidson was born June 9, 1944 in Greenville, Miss. He is the son of the late John William Davidson Sr. and the late Ruby (Stanley) Davidson. He was a Civil Engineer that loved the outdoors, who enjoyed hunting, photography, coaching baseball, football, and basketball for junior high kids. He also was Tulsa Junior Athletic Association, and a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in North Little Rock. Preceded in death by both parents, and one brother, Michael Davidson. He is survived by his wife, Victoria Marie (Mazzanti) Davidson, of Benton; a son, John William Davidson III. and wife Keyko of Woodbridge, Virginia; a daughter, Karen Davidson of Conway, Arkansas; two brothers, Tom and Charles "Skip" Davidson; a sister, Lisa Kay Davidson; and five grandchildren, Danielle, Melissa, Hailey, Benny, and Jake; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Visitation will be Thursday, December 8 from 6 p.m.-7 p.m. with Rosary at 7 p.m. at Bishop-King Funeral Home in Lake Village. A Mass of Christian burial will be held 10:00 a.m. on Friday, December 9 at Our Lady Of The Lake Catholic Church in Lake Village with Father Theo Okpara as celebrant. Burial will follow in Holy Innocents Cemetery in Lake Village under the direction of Bishop-King Funeral Home of Lake Village, Arkansas. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The ALS Association, Gift Processing Center, P.O. Box 6051, Albert Lea, Minn. 56007.
