Anita Gail McClendon

Anita Gail McClendon, 84, of Cabot, died Monday, Dec. 5, 2016. She was born on July 27, 1932 in St. Paul, Minn., to the late Lyman E. Farrand and Mable Harper Farrand. She served in the United States Marine Corps. Anita was on the administrative staff and also attended Mt. Carmel Church. She was a loving wife and mother. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, William L. McClendon and one brother, Lyman C. Farrand. Anita is survived by her children, Michael D. McClendon (Carol R.) of Cabot and Janis K. Merritt (David) of Sherwood. Visitation will be Monday, Dec. 12, 2016 from 6-8 p.m. and Funeral Services will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Moore's Cabot Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Mt.
