Dee Allen Brannum

Dee Allen Brannum, age 74 of Searcy, Ark., died Wednesday, Dec. 7, 2016 in Searcy. He was born Sept. 8, 1942 in Grubbs, Ark., to Jesse James Brannum and Ruby Mae Thompson Brannum. He is survived by eight children, Dee Brannum Jr., Karen Childree, Tammy Brannum, Susan Melvin, Duane Brannum, Derhonda Brannum, Crystal Brannum, Kevin Brannum; three brothers, Charles Brannum, Jesse Brannum, Bobby Brannum; and three sisters, Barbara Spriggs, Ann Gilmore, and Ruby Wherry. He is preceded in death by his parents; two wives, Joyce Ann Brannum, Salvacion Brannum; infant daughter, Shirley Michelle Brannum; two brothers, Carl Brannum, Michael Brannum; and one sister, Jimmie Loudean Williams. Visitation is Tuesday, Dec. 13 at Powell Funeral Home from 6-8: p.m. Funeral services will be Wednesday at 10 a.m. at Powell Funeral Home Chapel with interment to follow at Carter Cemetery.
