Thoburn (Andy) Anderson

Thoburn (Andy) Anderson of Heber Springs went home to see his Lord on Saturday, Dec. 03, 2016. He was born on Feb. 21, 1922 in Spiceland, Ind., to the late Charles Willard and Mary Overman Anderson. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his beloved wife Betty Tobin Anderson. He is survived by his children, David (Arlene) Anderson, Heber Springs, Ark., Mary Beth (Jeff) Johnson, Palatine, Ill., Lola Anderson; Wyoming, Ohio, eight grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren, sister-in-law, Barbara Roberts, Monroe, La., brother Ray Anderson, Ind., brother-in-law, Donald Tobin; nieces/nephews and many dear friends. Thru the last several years many who took great care of him, Marguerite Rhodes of Hot Springs, Good Samaritan Staff, Southridge Village Nursing & Rehab Staff and Arkansas Hospice. We want to thank all of those special people who loved and cared for Dad. A Memorial Service will be held at Village United Methodist Church, Dec. 27 at 2 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the Village United Methodist Church in Hot Springs Village or to Alzheimer's Arkansas. www.olmstead.cc.
