Susannah Noel Overstreet Reaper

Susannah Noel Overstreet Reaper, 48, of Searcy, passed away December 21, 2016 at Unity Health in Searcy after a battle with pneumonia and respiratory failure. She was born April 6, 1968 at Searcy, Arkansas. She attended Grace Methodist Church where she was baptized and accepted Christ as her savior. She was a 1985 graduate of Searcy High School and received her BSN RN with honors from ASU Jonesboro in 1991. Shortly after, she went to work for Central Arkansas Hospital where she enjoyed her nursing career. She married Frank Reaper in July 1989, and to this union were two sons, Garrett and Joshua. In 1995, Susannah began a long battle with depression, which resulted in the dissolution of her marriage in 2007, though both parties remained faithful to and supportive of their sons. During the last nine years of her life, she remained in the love and care of her mother, Janet. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Earl and Neva Overstreet; maternal grandparents, Edwin and Shirley Jimerson; and sister-in-law, Pamela Overstreet. She is survived by her father, Paul Overstreet (Janis); mother, Janet Jimerson Overstreet; sons, Garrett Franklin Reaper of Searcy, and Joshua Dylan Reaper of Little Rock; brother, Paul Ashley Overstreet II of Searcy; sister, Katherine Durham (D.J.) of Searcy; niece, Abigail Marie Durham; and nephew, Shaun Jemtegaard (Anna) of Searcy.
