Eva Jean Mills

Eva Jean Mills, age 92, of Haskell passed away on Wednesday, December 21, 2016. She was born March 3, 1924 in Traskwood. Eva was retired from the Benton Service Center as a dental assistant. She was a member of the Mt. Harmony Missionary Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter L. and Dollie Taylor Mobley; husband, Ruben Allen (Jack) Mills; brothers, Floyd Mobley and Doyle Mobley; sisters, Maurice Simmons, Odelle Hughes, and Estelle Green. Survivors: son and daughter-in-law, Mike (Gayle) Mills, Haskell; daughters and sons-in-law, Phyllis (Don) Newcomb, Benton; Karen (James) Welch, Haskell; special sister-in-law, Olive Mobley; seven grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren. Family wants to give special thanks to Heritage Health and Rehab in Hot Springs, and also to Dierksen Hospice Care in Hot Springs for all their love and care. Memorials may be made to CARTI, Markham and University, Little Rock, Ark. 72205. Graveside services will be 1 pm Tuesday, December 27, 2016 at Mt. Harmony Cemetery by Ashby Funeral Home.
